James Lauderdale

Having spent most of the course training alongside skilled horticulturalists who specialized in plant physiology, James established himself as an innovator in landscaping. With nine Gold medals for show gardens to date, James is regarded as one of Boston’s leading garden designers.
Fiona Walthorp

Fiona has taught dozens of classes in garden design at both the New York and Brooklyn botanical gardens. Her client list includes many of New York’s most notables, including Brett Icahn, George Soros, Anna Quindlen, Reshma Shetty, Rafael Yglesias, and make-up guru Bobbi Brown.
Olivia Blunder
Exterior Designer
Olivia is a public garden designer in New York City. In 1982, she rescued and restored The Conservatory Garden in Central Park. Based on her belief that good public open spaces can change city life, she has designed many other gardens and parks in all five boroughs since that time.

Hillary is the author of Parks, Plants and People: Beautifying the Urban Landscape, published by Norton in 2009. The book was the winner of American Horticultural Society 2010 National Book Award.
